Steak Polenta Parmesan Tomato and Basil Stacks

POLENTA STEAK STACKS

with Parmesan, Tomato and Basil

 

Polenta Steak Stacks are so versatile! This recipe is easy to tweak if you aren’t a steak eater, no one would argue with Polenta Eggplant Stacks ;-). I have used mixed herbs in place of straight basil, toasted pine nuts as a garnish and I will occasionally use a bed of spinach for a little extra green. I usually add a drizzle of balsamic glaze for my man. He’s an addict.  

Ingredients:

  • Steak! I went with barbecued tri-tip because it’s cheap and so damn delicious.
  • Polenta
  • Parmesan
  • Basil (or any herb of your choice)
  • Tomatoes
  • Red pepper flake
  • Himalayan rock salt

Instructions:

Start with the steak! Hopefully you have leftovers, but if not, no worries!
